Our Story
In 2015, Sans Souci Baptist Church partnered with Brookwood Church to replant the church and revitalize it’s mission in order to regain it’s founding purpose to reach the greater Sans Souci community. Now as Sans Souci Church, we are committed to knowing and loving God, growing in our faith, discovering our purpose, and transforming our world.
Our Staff
Lenny Miller – Pastor
Lenny has been the pastor of Sans Souci Church since 2017 and he loves doing ministry in the Sans Souci community. He loves seeing God transform people’s lives, minds, marriages and relationships. He loves camping and riding bikes with his wife, Lorri and especially loves time with his grandchildren.
Micah Greene – Associate Pastor
Micah graduated with a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Before coming to Sans Souci, Micah served in student ministry. He has a growing desire to see people changed by the good news of Jesus Christ. Other than ministry, Micah's greatest passion is his family. He is married to Katy and they are blessed with three children.
Angelica Butler – Worship Leader
Angelica has led worship for 8 years in various churches throughout the upstate, Georgia and Washington State through singing, playing guitar or piano. She and her husband, Zach and have one daughter, Mia. “Sans Souci Church has been so impactful and healing to our family and we can’t wait to see what is to come in the years ahead.” (Angelica)
Kelsey Knight – Director of Children’s Ministry
Kelsey graduated from North Greenville University (‘13) with an Early Childhood Education degree. She is currently certified in Early Childhood Education as well as Preschool Special Education. She has 10 years of teaching experience in PreK and PreK special education. Her husband, Dalton is a high school assistant principal. They love to be outdoors playing baseball with their kids. They have three children.
Lorri Miller – Office Manager
Lorri uses her love for Christ and administrative skills to support the church staff. Her passion is to serve others through Christ’s example. She loves to go camping with her husband, Lenny and thoroughly enjoys being with her family and eight grandchildren.
What To Expect
If it’s your first Sunday with us, walk up the Ramp Entrance facing the parking lot. Our Worship Center is to the left and our Coffee Nook, Mother’s Room, and Children’s Area are to the right. There will be Greeters and directional signs there to assist you.
What is our Worship Service like? A usual worship service lasts about 60 to 75 minutes. Most people wear comfortable clothing. We have a relaxed worship and teaching style. We sing contemporary and modern worship songs and every message is Bible-based and Jesus focused.
Sans Souci Kids is available for preschool and elementary aged children.
A Mother’s Room is available for mothers and babies with rocking chairs, changing table with supplies, and live-streamed worship service.
We also have a 5th and 6th grade class which meets twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Sundays during the worship service.
